Meet the Team

Co-founders Seth Daup and Brooke Bode are both from Western Nebraska and grew up with their communities largely supported by hardworking farmers and ranchers. With this in common, they set out to start Cattle Kettle in hopes of streamlining work for these farmers and ranchers to allow the farmers and ranchers to have more time to spend with their families, friends, and communities.

Seth Daup

CEO

Seth is a junior Finance student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. From Gothenburg, NE, Seth has a demonstrated commitment to leadership and community service as the executive board president of Nebraska Leadership Seminar, organizing leadership seminars for over 100 high-school leaders each summer. He gained valuable industry experience as a Software Engineering Intern at NCR in Atlanta, GA, during the summer of 2022. On campus, Seth actively engages in entrepreneurial pursuits, including involvement with the Husker Venture Fund, the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program, the Clifton Builders Program, and StartupsUNL. His academic background includes minors in Math, Computer Science, Clifton Builders Management, and Economics. In high school, Seth successfully ran several businesses in metalworking and lawn care and snow removal services.

Brooke Bode

CTO

Brooke is a junior Mechanical Engineering major at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from Hershey, NE, where she grew up on a farm. Four years ago, Brooke founded enGRAINed Grain Storage Automation, a venture aimed at streamlining grain drying and storage processes for farmers, enabling them to spend more time in their fields during harvest. In addition to her engineering pursuits, Brooke serves as Miss Hastings, actively engaging in her platform, Cultivating the Silicon Prairie: The Next Generation of Agriculture, to promote agricultural technology education across the state. During the summer of 2022, she gained professional experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Elemental Scientific, Inc. in Omaha, where she contributed to laboratory automation and interfacing projects. Brooke also has minors in Math, Business, Computer Science, and Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship.
